Unlike a touring pitch — booked night by night or week by week — a seasonal pitch is yours for the season, with your caravan staying in place rather than being towed in and out each visit. It's the option for anyone who wants a proper home from home in the Moors without the commitment of buying a lodge outright.
Is Ladycross open all year for seasonal pitches?
No, Ladycross is not open all year round. We're open from late March to late October every year for tourers and seasonal pitch holders. However, we do offer a winter storage option from just £260, meaning you can keep your caravan at Ladycross year-round if you would like to.
What's included in the price
Seasonal caravan pitches cost from £2500 per year for a fully-service pitch, excluding electricity which is billed based on use. Part seasonal pitches are occasionally available from £90 per week. This is for a minimum of 12 weeks on a grass pitch and is subject to availability.
How it compares to touring
A touring pitch suits people who want flexibility — different weekends, no fixed commitment. A seasonal pitch suits people who've already decided the Moors are their spot, and want somewhere set up and ready every time they arrive, without moving on. Many of our seasonal owners started out as touring guests who kept coming back to the same few weeks a year, until a seasonal pitch made more sense than repeat bookings.

Seasonal pitches are renewed by existing owners first, with any remaining pitches released to new customers. If you're interested in 2027, the earlier you get in touch the better — availability is genuinely limited, and popular pitches go quickly.
