Touring Pitches near Whitby, North Yorkshire

The park is open from Friday March 21st to October 26th for touring caravans.

We offer various size pitches for motorhomes and caravans all set in peaceful woodland. All pitches are hardstanding or hardstanding fully serviced.

2025 Pricing for Caravans (per night)

  • Prices include VAT
  • Bookings are to be for individual caravans, we are unable accept group bookings
  • Caravans in high season can book a minimum of a week
  • Motorhomes can book a minimum of a 2 nights low season stay and a minimum of a 3 nights high season
  • The maximum bay size for motorhomes is 7.5 metres length
  • Currently there are no charge points for electric cars
  • There is a small charge for daily visitors to the site

Notes

  • Please note awnings larger (width) than 2.5 metres will only be allowed by prior arrangement as we only have a couple of pitches wide enough and will incur an additional daily charge of £1.00.
  • Limited pitches available for continental caravans - please advise when booking.
  • Please also note for hardstanding and fully serviced pitches there is a surcharge of £4.00 per night for one adult during high season.
  • High season bookings are a minimum of 7 nights and 3 days for the short bank holidays, but availability can vary as we are flexible with start dates.

  • Thursday 1st May to Monday 5th May
  • Friday 23rd May to Saturday 2nd June
  • Friday 28th June to Sunday 7th Sept
  • Friday 24th October to Sunday 2nd November (subject to change)
  • Season closing date for tourers is to be confirmed

Note: High Season minimum 7 day bookings for caravans (motorhomes under 7.5 m min 3 days)

Arrivals & Departures

No arrivals before 2.00pm and all departures by 12 noon unless by prior arrangement.

Dogs

Sadly there are some breeds of dogs we do not take at Ladycross, any dangerous dog breeds and various other breeds including Staffordshire Bull Terrier/crosses, Rottweilers, Akitas, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, Huskies, Dobermans and Mastiff, please check if you are unsure.

Pets must be on a lead at all times around the park, around your caravan, and the woodland area.

We now have our Freedom Field that pets can be exercised off a lead with care.

Touring Pitches FAQ

Can I bring a gazebo to my pitch?

We do not accept gazebos.

Can I bring my pet to your holiday park?

Yes, you can bring your pet, maximum 2 dogs only, but please note we cannot accept certain types of dog: Any listed dangerous dog breed along with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/crosses, Rottweilers, Akitas, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, Huskies, Dobermans and Mastiff, please check with us before booking if you are unsure. If you arrive with one of these breed we reserve the right to cancel your booking immediately and ask you to leave the park.

Can I upgrade my pitch?

Yes, you can upgrade your pitch, subject to availability. We can discuss this prior to your stay or when you arrive.

Do you offer seasonal pitches?

Yes, we do offer seasonal pitches. To find out more, visit our seasonal pitches page.

What are the camping/glamping facilities available?

We do not have the option to camp/set up a tent or yurt at Ladycross. If you are looking for a camping holiday we can suggest some places for you.

What are the check-in/ check-out times for touring holidays?

Arrival times from 2.00pm. All departures up to 12 noon unless by prior arrangement. This allows us to prepare the park for new visitors.
